The Collingwood BIA has been working many current programs to benefit the businesses and comsumers in the Collingwood Neighbourhood.
Our focus over the past several years has been:
Crime Prevention Programs include: Bike & Foot Patrols, Anti-Graffiti Programs and the Collingwood Guardians Program. 23% of our annual budget is allocated to these programs.
Street Enhancement Programs include: Sidewalk sweeping, Banners, Lighting, Waste management and Green-space. 25% of our annual budget is allocated to these programs.Marketing & Promotions Programs include: Who’s Who Newspaper program, Collingwood Days, Tree Lighting program, Website, Promotional items such as calendars, shopping bags, colouring books etc., Newsletter, Area Branding and Business Recruitment & Retention programs, Annual General Meeting. 14% of our annual budget is allocated to support these programs.Office and Administration: The CBIA office is staffed with one Manager and one Administrative Assistant. The office is located at 3665 Kingsway (corner Boundary Road & Kingsway). 38% of the budget is allocated to staff wages, rent, parking, annual audit, insurance, and office expenses.
