The sun was shining on this celeberation!  There were two lion dance teams strolling Kingsway on February 4th between 12 - 2pm.  To begin the festivities the lion teams blessed both enteranced to the Collingwood BIA area 1) at Boundary Road and 2) at Rupert.  Gung Hay Fat Choi to everyone in the Collingwood neighbourhood.

The Hon Hsing Athletic Club of Vancouver provided the volunteer lion dancers and crew. They were very professtional and entertaining to watch.

Jr. BIA members were handing out lucky red envelopes with candy inside to people on the street shopping. Thank you to Stephen Hill, manager at Starbucks - Boundary Plaza for suppling the volunteers with refreshments prior to the Lion Dance.
