The federal government released stimulus money for small businesses in BC.  It is a training program to build an e-commerce website. 

The program is called the Workplace Training for Innovation Program.  This program will provide up to 4 employees or volunteers the opportunity to take e-commerce training.  The online training will result in your company having a fully functional e-commerce website to generate direct revenue from sales.

It is paid for by the government and if your business fits the profile for the subsidy the only cost to you is the GST which becomes a tax credit.

The program is subsidized by the provincial and federal governments as part of the federal stimulus package.

It is being offered to businesses in good standing with the Registrar of Companies that have fewer than 50 employees.
