The City of Vancover is challenging all businesses to Paint the Town Red for February 11th and 12th in honour of the 2010 Vancouver Whistler Winter Games.

 Chinese New Year 2010
Collingwood will be celebration Chinese New Year with the arrival of the Lion Dancers on Saturday, February 20, 2010. Thanks to Stanley and Mary from Joyce Bakery who organized the Lions. Last year almost 30 business participated.

Join the Collingwood Business Improvement Association board and staff at the annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, December 5, 2009 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the corner of Kingsway & Tyne in the Safeway parking lot.
The event is a great way to kick off the holiday season in Collingwood. You'll enjoy the sounds of the Carleton School Choir, a Magic Show, Balloon Artistry, Storytelling, Crafts, Face Painting, Pictures with Santa, Holiday Classic Movie, complimentary refreshments, and of course the lighting of the community Tree.
Those wishing to bring a non-perishable food item will have an opportunity to entre our on-site draw for a great gift basket. Let's help make someone else's holidays Merry!
Special thanks to our event partners: Safeway, Starbucks, London Drugs and the Collingwood Community Police Centre.

Where: DY House - Flavor of Asia Restaurant at the Cassandra Hotel 3075 Kingsway
Time: 5:30 - 7:00 pm
Please call our office to register. It's a wonderful opportunity for businesses to network with other Collingwood businesses. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided. Door Prizes will be awarded.
